Annular Dies
The heart of any foam extrusion sheet line is the die. It is
responsible for providing optimal foam distribution and dictates
the physical characteristics, profile and width of the final
product. Sentinel’s team of top engineers, dedicated to
the research and development of foam, has designed the industry’s
latest ‘state of the art’ foam die technology. Developments
such as a patented choke system with independent flow control
zones and the Autojust, computer controlled die lip and choke
control system, have put Sentinel on the cutting edge of die
technology. 
Features of Sentinel Annular Foam Dies:
• Three zones of oil
temperature control
• Patent Pending Choke System consisting of mulitple
independent sections: Unwanted tortional stresses are
eliminated via axial pressure design.
• Adjustments to the die lips and choke sections
can be made via standard pneumatic control system with
meter integrated within the die cart, or computer controlled
‘Autojust’ system with recipe storage.
• High Temperature Capability for higher temperature
foams, such as PET

Sentinel Metering Systems:
Sentinel’s liquid and gas metering systems for foam
extrusion processes provide utmost technology available for
top quality foam sheet and board applications.
Features of Sentinel Metering Systems:
• Motor
driven diaphragm pumps (optional pneumatic pumps)
• Special two-loop control system upgrade capable
of individual control or automatically proportioned or
cascaded flow control for two gases.
• Pressures up to 6000 psi
• Communications ability with most control systems
