technology, as well as complete turnkey systems.
Sentinel provides turnkey solutions for foam technology that
feeds into the automotive, industrial, packaging and other
diversified markets. This technology features plastic materials
such as : Polyester (PET), Polypropylene (PP), thermoplastic
Olefins (TPO's), Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE's), and Polystyrene
(PS), with blowing agents including Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and
Nitrogen (N2).
The hardware consists of the most advanced equipment
designs available.

Screws...Screw Designs are continually refined
to provide higher outputs, improve mixing and energy
conservation, and are tailored to the application's
needs.
• Extruders...Depending on the
formulation and application, twin screw, single screw
or tandem extruder configurations are selected to provide
the most efficient system for the customer's needs.
• Dies...Advance profile, sheet
and annular dies with patented technologies are proven
to insure you have the state-of-the-art on the most
important part of your foam system. For example, on-the-fly
die gap adjustment, electronic control of die settings
and co-extrusion are some of the advance features you
will find on our annular dies.

The software is the know-how and the formulations
necessary to make the product you desire. Utilizing Sentinel
Products Corp Development Facilities, specialty formulations
are developed for the specific application.
Turnkey Solutions: Our complete vertical
operation allows you to produce your entire project with the
utmost ease. A "Software" package complements every
"Hardware" package. With the ability to formulate
and provide pilot production runs, processes can be pre-tested
and confirmed prior to the design and construction of production
scale equipment.
Sheet Weight Reduction Technology: Today,
many sheet manufacturers use costly chemical blowing agent
to reduce the weight of the sheet products they produce. This
weight reduction ultimately provides the lightweight feature
but not the reduction in costs. To obtain weight reductions
of 20,30,40 & 50%, the amount of chemical blowing agent
necessary at $2-3/lb offsets the cost savings of the resin.
Producers have been limited to using chemical blowing agent
to weight reduce sheet products due to the limited technology
available to use low cost physical blowing agents.
Sentinel Products Corp is now utilizing its extensive experience
in low density foams to deliver technology for the production
of high quality sheet with weight reductions up to 60%.
